• [2016] This journal was first published in Juni 2016. The journal has an ISSN number (print and online) in the September 2016 Volume 1 Number 1 edition.
• [2018] In 2018, JAPI (Jurnal Akses Pengabdian Indonesia) had an updated editorial team, such as the addition of new editors and reviewers. In addition, there has been a change of editor-in-chief.
• [2020] In 2020, JAPI (Jurnal Akses Pengabdian Indonesia),  since April 2020, this journal has been accredited “Rank 4”(Peringkat 4) as a scientific journal under the decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree SK : B/804/E5/E5.2.1/ 2019 on April 3, 2020.
• [2021] Starting in 2021, JAPI (Jurnal Akses Pengabdian Indonesia), revised the Author's Guidelines and Manuscript Template. In the Juni 2021 edition of volume 6 number 1, the JAPI template was updated, changed from the template / layout of the previous edition. • [2022] Since 2022, the number of journal publication periods has increased to 3 times a year, namely April, August, and December. 
• [2023] In September 2023, JAPI (Jurnal Akses Pengabdian Indonesia) has an updated editorial team, such as the addition of new editors and reviewers.
