Focus and Scope
OPTIMA: Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial adalah jurnal berkala enam bulanan yang memuat berbagai artikel/naskah berupa hasil penelitian, studi kasus, hasil pemikiran, maupun karya tulis ilmiah oleh seluruh civitas profesi dibidang agribisnis, ekonomi, dan sosial yang bekerja di institusi pemerintah, lembaga penelitian, LSM, dan asuransi.
OPTIMA: Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial merupakan publikasi ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh UNITRI PRESS sebagai media komunikasi dan informasi di bidang tersebut.
Jurnal Optima: Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial ini berfokus pada kajian agribisnis dari pendekatan makroekonomi yang meliputi aspek sosial dan ekonomi mulai dari pengadaan sarana produksi, usahatani, agroindustri, pemasaran dan sarana penunjang termasuk sektor kelembagaan agribisnis, serta penyuluhan pertanian, perencanaan pembangunan wilayah pertanian, pemberdayaan masyarakat petani dan kebijakan pembangunan pertanian. Selain itu jurnal ini juga mengkaji bidang ekonomi dan sosial yang berkaitan dengan studi ekonomi dan pembangunan yang meliputi sejarah ekonomi, ekonomi terapan. bisnis dan keuangan, pembangunan daerah, kebijakan publik, industri dan perdagangan, ekonomi lingkungan dan ekologi, manajemen keuangan, pemasaran, kewiraswastaan, manajemen sumber daya manusia.
Scope/Ruang lingkup kajian Jurnal Optima: Agribisnis, Ekonomi dan Sosial mencakup hasil penelitian atau artikel review yang berkaitan dengan agribisnis, ekonomi, dan sosial.

Peer Review Process
Terbitan OPTIMA bersifat ilmiah (peer-reviewed) yang dikelola melalui beberapa tahapan. Naskah yang disampaikan pertama kali ditinjau oleh editor dan harus bebas dari isi plagiarisme, batas maksimum kesamaan adalah 25% dengan menggunakan plagiarism turnitin. Naskah yang diserahkan akan dievaluasi, apakah itu cocok untuk fokus dan ruang lingkup OPTIMA atau memiliki kelemahan metodologis utama yang tidak dapat ditoleransi.
Setiap naskah yang disampaikan akan ditinjau oleh setidaknya satu peer-reviewer. Reviewer tidak menyadari identitas penulis, dan penulis juga tidak mengetahui identitas peninjau (double-blind review method). Proses peninjauan akan mempertimbangkan judul, abstrak, pendahuluan, metode penelitian, hasil dan pembahasan, serta simpulan. Keputusan yang disarankan akan dievaluasi dalam rapat dewan editorial. Komentar reviewer kemudian dikirim ke penulis yang sesuai untuk tindakan dan tanggapan yang diperlukan dalam 2 minggu.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
References Management
To every article submitted to Optima : Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial , Citation and Reference are written according to the APA reference style. The references shall be ordered based on numerical and chronological order.

Optima: Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial is a peer-reviewed journal. This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, the peer-reviewer and the publisher (UNITRI PRESS - Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang). This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed Optima: Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society.
UNITRI PRESS as publisher of Optima: Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing extremely seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, Publisher and Editorial Board will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful and necessary.
Publication Decision
The editor of the Optima: Jurnal Ilmiah Agribisnis, Ekonomi, dan Sosial is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers must always drive such decisions. The editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
